Girls Active | Moodboards | Sears & Kmart
For upcoming SP 19’ design kick off for Sears & Kmart, I created three moodboards for Girl’s Active category. Our floor pad usually has three concepts each, in order to play into each pricing architecture (good,better,best). I presented these ideas in our seasonal concept review, to convince the buyers, merchants and design directors of our design direction. The trends speak to what’s relevant in the market for girls active, and introduces new ideas for product, i.e. yoga studio wear, and dance wear. These are products Sears & Kmart don’t offer as of now, and I felt it was necessary to broach the topic, and try something new. It also plays into the idea of sharing fabrics & prints with women’s active, as they already have yoga wear.
